It’s a wonderful mess. Life and work. Passion and endless struggle. Family & colleagues. Dance and music. Christianity and paganism. Wanting and letting go. Body and soul. Owning and sharing. Pulse and stillness.
You are every contrast, shaken and stirred. At first glance, it's tempting to provide structure. Set boundaries. Make it neat. Let work be work and stay in it's cage. But that's not in your nature. You would always resist and find a way to escape. You're family who makes a living together.
Not that long ago, a family craft was the way to survive together. We see families united by a craft for survival all over the world. In those times families would have a family mark (Bomärke) or a stamp (Hanko) to put on their property or items they created. Either for sale or for use. A mark of ownership. But also a mark of quality and pride of craft.
We have made yours.
Family Business.
Flora Fauna Project is an artist led collab + production company by choreographer Maria Nilsson Waller and multidisciplinary artist Stace Gill (The Sei).
Rooted in dance and music, they mainly create work for stage, film and installation, with professional dancers, non professionals and communities.
TBD and Flora Fauna Project are collaborative partners on big and small. The first work we made was an identity full of craft, motion and emotion. It will set the backdrop for many expressions and explorations to come.
