Together we found the reasons, confidence and style that let them carry themselves like the positively different, small but mighty powerhouse they are. Aaaand the modular communication platform to keep the brand voice together across 5 markets while allowing for local flexibility.. well that’s just how we do it.

Research

Every market has it’s unique challenges, needs and opportunities. For Direct Link it was critical to understand all of them and where they align and where they differ between markets. We interviewed representatives for each of the markets to learn about core and secondary values and found the keys for the modular communication platform that solved for their needs: to speak as one, with relevance for each market.

Brand Platform

In order to speak with clarity, you need to know who you are and what you stand for in the world. Direct Link got a sharpened and tightened brand platform that puts their unique position in the world in the spotlight.

Product Platform

The bundled services and products for shipping can get quite complicated and difficult for a consumer to understand. We created structure and information architecture to support the conversation.

Visual Identity

Direct Link is a company who does everything a little smarter than the competition. Where the competition is heavy on trucks and planes Direct Link owns nothing. Where the competition talks about big, global solutions, Direct Link works with all the little locals. So they needed to look a lot less like the masculine tough guy which is the industry standard, and more like the clever rule breaker that they are. Optimistic, friendly and resourceful illustrations, a new lightened logo, fonts and colors help show the world who we are.

Lead generation strategy

Once you’re out there in the world, telling people what you’re made of, it’s a great idea to make sure you have a plan for how those eyeballs turn into business. So we made one.

Strategy, identity..that’s the little job that comes before the big and never ending work of making every touchpoint reflect and build towards that truth you’re chasing.
